In today’s Cyberpunk 2077 news we have New screenshots, Lifepaths, Notable characters 80GB downloads and 2 discs, and Pondsmiths in game character!
First off we have a new image from Xbox Magazine. It features Female V on the Yaiba Kusanagi motorcycle that we’ve seen in the past in a very downtrodden slum area in Night City. It’s unclear if this is a segment from the latest demo in Pacifica but it seems to be likely due to just how decrepit it looks.
Next up we have confirmation that the man himself Mike Pondsmith, the creator of the source material of Cyberpunk 2077 in Cyberpunk 2013, 2020 and the upcoming Cyberpunk Red will be featured in the game as a character.
Next we have some hints that Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on 2 discs. Earlier on in the year it was noted that the minimum install size for 2077 will be 80GB.
Next we have some new details about the Lifepath system from CD PROJEKT RED via the CDPR Forums. When asked about why they made the change from the Childhood hero paths to the new Corpo, Nomad an street kid Lifepath options they had this to say. “We basically made a choice between offering many more or less superficial options, or to choose three that we can actually make interesting and meaningful. Your lifepath won’t just decide how you start the game and what your background is, but it can influence the rest of the game however you choose…”
Next we have a new Cosplay from Irene Mier. Super well done, and the official Cyberpunk 2077 twitter seemed to like it because they did tweet it out!
Next we have a vague detail from Marcin Blacha, the story director at CD PROJEKT RED when asked if notable characters like Morgan Blackhand, Spider Murphy, Yorinobu Arasaka and Nomad Santiago are going to be featured in the game.
