Cyberpunk 2077 News Afterlife Card Game, V’ Apartment, Irina Meier Fem V Cosplay & Music Details Covered by Kazuliski. Cyberpunk Red Jumpstart Kit released today.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an RPG set in Night City, the most vibrant and dangerous metropolis of the future. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. In a world of Solos, Netrunners and Techies, today is your first step to becoming an urban legend like Samurai, Johnny Silverhand (Keanu Reeves).

An interview with Polish Magazine PSX Extreme revealed a few minor details of interest. Reference was made to the Badlands outside of Night City, where the Wraiths, Raffen Shiv and Aldecaldo Nomads reside. The Wraiths were the most dangerous Raffen Shiv back in 2020.

V’s apartment will be critical to the story line as many events will take place inside it, although you will not be allowed to decorate it yourself. There will be special collectable items to find throughout the game, which can be stored in the apartment. Cyberware will be available that will allow V to search for secrets.

V can have a relationship with multiple NPC’s at the same time. A few of these might not be happy if they find out you are cheating on them. The possibility of a new game plus was mentioned.

The talented Irina Meier released a video of her latest Fem V cosplay.

CMON and CD PROJEKT RED announced a new collaboration for Cyberpunk 2077 – Afterlife: The Card Game. Designed by Eric M. Lang, the game thrusts players into the dark alleyways of Night City, where ruthless gangs clash with corporations in an endless war for money, power, and control. This will be the first collaboration between the two companies, with plans for more to follow.

In the game players become Fixers. Fixers are the data brokers and masterminds in Night City who recruit cyberpunks, equip them with gear, and send them out on missions. But nothing’s free in Night City. Players need to balance between what they want and what they can afford.

Each successful mission raises the player’s Street Cred, with mission survivors becoming Veterans, imparting their knowledge and experience to newer recruits. In this chrome-infused world, Street Cred is the only currency that truly matters.

Eric M. Lang, CMON’s Director of Game Design, said of the project, “I’m a huge fan of Cyberpunk and have played it since the first edition. I grew up playing the RPG and have kept up with the franchise through the years. Andrea Chiarvesio and I were beyond thrilled to work on it.”

Rafał Jaki, Business Development Director at CDPR, confirmed that it is a stand-alone card game, and there are no plans to have it in the 2077 video game.

Paul Leonard Morgan gave a sneak peak of himself working on the 2077 soundtrack.

The Cyberpunk Red Jumpstart Kit is now available to purchase via the DriveThruRPG Website.
